A note from 1 Million Women founder, Nat…
Today the world celebrates the life and 95th birthday of an amazing man – Nelson Mandela.
As far as I’m concerned there has been no individual in my lifetime who has been more significant. Nelson Mandela, today’s generations realise that the impossible could become the possible and set a gold standard for future generations to come.
We all have the ability to make change happen and, most importantly, to be change. Today, we should let that be his message to us all.
We are all agents of change – every one of us. The change we make in our lives as individuals is so powerful; it has the power to influence the lives of those in our circles of friends and work places more than we could ever know – the ripple effect.
Right now we are being faced with one of the biggest challenges in humanity’s history, the fight against dangerous climate change.
Climate change is real and it’s transforming the way that we live, and nature around us. We have the power to change this as individuals and as members of a collective.
Nelson Mandela and his incredible life have shown us that no challenge is too daunting.
Behaviour change is really hard, but if you go along thinking ‘I’m just one person and I can’t make a difference’ – where would the world be?
We are a collective of great individuals, and how amazingly powerful is that?
